Dear Friends,
I need to a simple circuit for metal detecting.
The detection object is coins in the depth 10cm.
I need this circuit for a small robot. So it's very good if i can connect alarm output of circuit to a microcontroller instead of a buzzer or LED.
It's important that i know the details of circuit parts.
Thanks

An edaboard search would show you dozens of complete metal detector designs.

You have two options: simple unit or one that works ..
I prefer the latter ..

So, here is detailed description of MAGNUM metal detector ..
**broken link removed**

Funny thing about it is that you can use a couple of plastic plates from you kitchen as bases to construct the coils ..

Dear friends,
Thanks for your help.
I checked projects you referred but most of them are old analogue circuits with many parts.
As i said i need to a circuit with a few parts like chip CS209A and coil and a few resistors and capacitors which the output of chip is connected to a microcontroller.
I don't need a powerfull detector.
