Advantage of IC validator compred with HErcules (DRC/LVS) ?

I'm currently a user of Hercules for DRC and LVS.
Debugging an LVS with Hercules is sometime tricky and complicated
(especially if you compare it with CALIBRE tool ).

Synopsys is currently planning to deliver a new tool called IC validator.

Is somebody know if IC validator bring a different methodology and reports to debug LVS ?
Is there something clearly different or improved in this area with IC validator ?
