Hi leacom,

TI's 5402 totally has 1M program space, but only 64k per PAGE.
I want to put some data in the upper program space, so the extended PAGE is necessary. What should I do?

The READA and WRITA instructions are extended in the '5402 DSP to use 20 bits so you can use them to read the extended program memory addressed by accumulator A and store in data memory AND to write data to the extended program memory addressed by accumulator A respectively. All other instructions (to access data) do not modify the XPC.

Hope it helps.

Regards,
George
