how to renumber the pin no in allegro

edit pin numbers in allegro

can any one help me how i can renumber the footprint pad numbers.

Try Edit-Text 8)
 

allegro package renumbering

i have seen in apd it is possible but not in allegro
any other way text edit too failed

I am surprised that Edit>Text failed. I have done it and worked ok.
Remember though you cannot have identical pin numbers.

IN ALLEGRO SYMBOL EDITOR, USING EDIT TEXT YOU CAN MODIFY PINNUMBER
 

select the edit >text.
then click on the pins you want to renumber that will do.
