Digital Down Converters

I m Engineering student. I m currently working on Digital down converters for SDRs. Can any body guide me in this regards.

Re: Digital Down Converters

A good point to start could be the Analog Devices web sites: search for data sheet and app notes regarding their DDCs (AD662x and AD6636).
See also Texas Instruments and Graychip but I don't know nothing about their DDC (if any).

ISL4016 (Intersil)

AD6636 (analog device)

GC5016 (TI)

Digital Down Converters

You can use AD6624A, search its datasheet at www.analog.com. I remember it can work over 100M Hz.

Re: Digital Down Converters

Hi,
Are you looking for direct digital downconversion or simply downconversion. Direct is a hot topic and AD has used it in some of their projects also some RF companies RFMD (I guess) has used it commercially.
