PIC Microcontroller

Hello,

did anyone know how to record sound and playback using ISD2560 in PIC18F4620 ? can you explain me what is the difference between a PIC and a AVR Micrcontroller ? In my project what microcontroller is the better with ISD2560.

Thank You

PIC Microcontroller

If you wanna know difference about chips, Confirm the datasheet of micro controllers.

Re: PIC Microcontroller

You can capture the audio using the ADC of the micro, store it in a flash memory, then read it and play it using PWM.

Hi
I don't know about ISD2560 but i suggest you to use LTC2440.
It is high speed ADC for speech/resolution.
And it is easy to interface with PIC & AVR]

uC (PIC or AVR) will not be burdened by the actual audio playback - ISD2560 will be doing it. Both PIC and AVR are capable of controlling ISD2560. Which are you feel more comfortable with and why?
