Powerline communication

hi
I want to design a transmitter n receiver separately for data communication using powerline, that too using dicrete components, Ic's etc..
Pls help......

Hi

It is useful task to do - since it will be very complicated to make a modem using discrete components

You can use XR2211 as the modem FSK transmitter
And LM565 as the modem FSK receiver

This are old IC not sure manufacturing any more

you can also do the work with a FPGA design the modem into the FPGA and adding the analog interface circuit to the power network

All the best

Bobi
