Register values didn't update in CCS 2.1 program

I have a problem now!

I already rebuild all the project,and there 's no error and no warning!
but when I debug the project:Step into(F8) the program ,but I discover some registers not change as the program,and some can!
I am so puzzled! Is the computer has some problem,or the EVM has?

what version of Code Composer you are using ?

i guess EVM is not correct. its is alway consided good to write a module and check it.

I use the CCS 1.20 version.
I have used the simulator module ,but there also was the problem!
I guess the problem is occured at the system,WIN98!

I have the same problem with the local variables .. they didn`t update corectly with the program flow in the watch window .. I use Code Composer 4.12 .. it may be bug also in CCS 1.20

Oh I used to have bug like that, the global variable changed without any action in subroutine. so wonderful
