Does Synopsys LEDA support commands like 'set_false_path'?

there are too many (>6k) warnings with a rule (C_1202)
most of these warnings are not useful

how can I select the useful ones in the report?
that is to say, how can I mute the useless warnings in a simple way?

i just want to see certain paths, can set_false_path work?

Hi,

You can deselect a policy or rule by the following syntax :

"rule_deselect -policy LEDA -ruleset CLOCKS -rule C_1202 " in the config.tcl file where you are mentioning the rules.If you dont have one, you can have one and put this in that file and mention this with "-config" option.

Regarding false_path, you can mention the false paths in the ".sdc" file [ " set_false_path ...; refer to leda_user guide for exact syntax "] and give with option read_constraints *.sdc.

so I can use set_false_path in a sdc file to disable LEDA checking on an certain path in a RTL design?
I have read leda use guide, and SDC checker can only check sdc syntax, differents between two sdc files or svf files.
i thought leda dont meet my requirements, am i right?
i don't want to mute all warnings or errors with C_1202
:)

Yes you can use set_false_path in sdc file to disable certain path.

Hi wufei,

You can give input the sdc file what Shitansh has provided using the command.
LEDA meets ur requirement regarding false path.
You can use gui instead of command line option, where u can get help easily.

these command lines 'read_verilog read_vhdl analyze' can't compile at all
only 'current_design set_false_path' can work
but there's nothing happened

Instead of C_1202 rule use NTL_CDC* rules for CDC checking. You can find info abt it at $LEDA_PATH/doc/pol_cdc.pdf.

Their latest version is C2009.06 ... May contact support for installtion instructions.
