Need optimization fir filter program

fir filter programming

For my fir filter,I need a low taps fir for implementation.I had tried windows and remez method,but the taps is too high.
I heard that optimization fir filter design method is good,anyone can provide some program or papers about it to help finish the design.

Optimization fir filter? I can not understand what it is. I know, we can simply design the fir filter using fdatool.
OK! what is your sampling freq. decrease it.

what is your requirement?
Try IIR,it can reduce the tap.

What I mean is the method like linear programming,convex optimization to design fir.I had found some papers about it,but it really a little complicated for me,so I need some example program(matlab code or c code) and more papers,books.Anyone can help me?
 

U can Mix coefficients of 2 consecutive stages. and add them ,
By the way ur FIR is Low pass or High Pass , tell me in detail
 

I can only use one stage fir filter.
lowpass,fs=19.6608MHz,fpass=590kHz,fstop=740kHz
passband ripple < 1db, stopband >50db
