How can a synchronous buck regulator be operated in DCM? What have been people's experiences to achieve this?

Guys, I would appreciate some feedback on this. Have to work on a project to do this but don't know much about it.
Thanks

When the output current is low, make sure the low side mosfet is disabled so not to sink current. some call this diode emulation.
