assembly to hex

The "Assembly to Hex converter" conversion tool is named assembler, I guess, you should have heard the term before. For ATmega families, this tool is provided by Atmel for free. Check their website.

Thanks for quick reply
ya, I have heard about Assembler, but I was confused between Assembler and compiler.

I visited atmel site

it contains many Softwares like AVR Studio 4.17 (build 666), AVR Studio 4.16 SP1 (build 638), AVR Studio 4.16 (build 628)
and many more

Which one should I download?
and is it a free version ? I mean full version
or is it a demo/ trial version ?

asm to hex converter

I'm not using the Atmel tools at present. AVR Studio and AVR Studio32 are free, at least AVR Studio also contains an assembler. It's mostly used with free WinAVR (GNU) C-compiler. I would generally download the most recent final (not beta) version of the tools.
