555 sawtooth

How can I get a saw tooth wave out of a 555 timer?

The desired output frequency is 56khz.

Thanks

555 sawtooth generator

An integrator in the output.
The voltage on the capacitor in triangular

sawtooth 555

will that still give me an output frequency of 56khz with the integrator on the output?

555 saw wave

The frequency of 555 is defined by the RC network between pins 7 ,6 and
2 ,not by the output you can calculate it usin the 555 datasheet. On pin 2 or 6 (they are tied together in selfoscilating aplication) you can use a saw tooth wave but you have to buffer it with emmiter follower for example in order not to disturb the 555 generator.
