sim300 gprs

Hi All,

I am new to this. Can any one help me to activate GPRS using SIM300 on my PC either using AT commands or through PPP....

I have tried the following commands

AT+CIPSTATUS

STATE: IP INITIAL

AT+CGATT=1

OK

AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","airtelfun.com"

OK

AT+CSTT="airtelfun.com","",""

OK

AT+CDNSORIP=0

OK

AT+CIICR

OK

AT+CIFSR

10.153.148.160

AT+CSQ

28,0

AT+CLPORT="TCP","8080"

OK

AT+CIPSTART="TCP","100.1.200.99","8080"

i get Connect Ok.

But the IP address specified i.e., 100.1.200.99 is of Airtel.
When i try to specify the IP address of my server i.e., 208.xxx.xxx.xx
i get Connect Fail.

Any idea???

steps to activate gprs in sim300

Can you connect to your server on port 8080 with your PC? If not, you won't connect via the GSM module either.
