Here is some info for building your own PIC micro programmer see the attach GUI photograph, look like very beautiful and friendly user interface.
Why I said building your own programmer number of reason it’s provided with full source mean open source and also complete MP-Lab Project file with assembly file for interface chip so you can easily made changes for up gradation purpose and what so ever, basically it’s was made for PIC16F8xx series of Micro, source code is pretty state forward so easily can modified for other chips I have started work on it and link provided here for other friends to share there experience and any idea or may be some can do better work further more I can interface with test bed
