The problem is, that a dielectric resonator is shielded by a PEC cavity, and thus eigenmode simulation in Ansoft HFSS will acquire resonant modes of both the metal cavity and the dielectric resonator.
If the size of the cavity is reduced to increase the frequency of the lowest mode of the cavity, the default starting frequency of eigenmode simulation will also increase, and may omit low modes of the dielectric resonator. Increasing starting frequency manually does not help.
What else can be done? Thanks for your help!
