Hi All,
I recently started working in the field of marine acoustics.
As previously, I still do mostly embedded software and hardware design on a system level, making different pieces of hardware talk to each other, logging with a bit of processing, application software etc.
I want to get a bit more into the guts of an actual echosounder to get a feel for the typical hardware and software topologies that are commonly used.
I have a bit of DSP experience and I'm currently learing FPGA's using mostly Verilog.
If anyone can point me to additional reading on acoustics and echosounders in particular it would be greatly appreciated. Looking for block diagrams, schematics and general theory.
Thanks
