What is the difference between pn junction diode, zener diode, antena diode? Whn we r placing this antenna diode when we are getting antenna violation how the charges gets bypassed??

antenna diode

Whn u connect a NAC diode near the gate there are two paths for charge to go
1.through NAC diode to the sbstrate 2 to the transistor gate.
NAC Doide(Antenna diode) provides an alternate path for the charge to substrate.

antenna diodes

Antenna diodes are palced on gate terminal of MOS who have significant routing for gate signal.
at the manufactring time there is a chanse of charge accumalation and this charge would damage ur gate oxide, so provide discharge path using antenna diode ( which is PN diode)

nac diode

But i heard its a zener diode? is this correct?

antenna diode near gate

it's not a Zener diode

attena diode size

it's not a Zener diode

antenna diode asic

Its not a Zener diode
