THIS CIRCUIT CAN BE USED IN HOBBY VEHICALS . THESE 5 CONTROLS ARE DONE BY SIMPLE MEANS.

FORWARD .
REVERSE.
BRAKE.
SPEED CONTROL.
4WD.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SUGGEST. [/img][/b]

MODIFICATION : SHORT CIRCUIT REMOVED.CONNECTED ACROSS FIRST MOTOR.

Re: DC 12V MOTOR CONTROL . FWD , REV , SPEED CTRL , 4WD , BR

Surprizing operation of the brake control!

Hi,
Very strange braking solution !!!
It's looks like battery's short-circuit. Be careful with this solution your accumulators can explose.

DC 12V MOTOR CONTROL . FWD , REV , SPEED CTRL , 4WD , BRAKE.

ammarabbasi,

Move the wires on the break pushbutton so it's across the motor terminals...not the battery terminals. For better long term life for your pushbuttion, add a low ohm/high wattage resistor in series with one of the pushbutton wires. In the Fisher-Price Power Wheels (**broken link removed**) they use a 0.47 ohm/10 watt resistor. This limits the breaking current, saving the switch contacts, and provides more gentle breaking action. The higher the resistance, the slower the breaking action...the lower the resistance, the more abrupt the breaking.

Thank you buddies .

Added after 4 minutes:

i also want to add an other motor for steering function . i think a PWM motor with pulse . i any body got some idea . please help me out.

thanks

Re: DC 12V MOTOR CONTROL . FWD , REV , SPEED CTRL , 4WD , BR

ammarabbasi,

Another problem I see is that unless your switch(s) have a center-off position, power is "always" being applied to the motor(s). But, this may be what you are showing in the lower left picture. A DPDT relay will not replace a DPDT-center-off switch.

As for steering, are you making a remot control device?

WOW THE EXTREEEEEMMM BRAKE OPERATION, if you use more then 1 AH battery, your cable will burn so quick,

Re: DC 12V MOTOR CONTROL . FWD , REV , SPEED CTRL , 4WD , BR

Hi,
For little power you can use integrated Hbridge (L292; L298; LMD18200).
This circuits contain current measure and braking command.
