bit pair recording

hi frndz,

does any one have any idea about the Modified Booth Bit Pair Recording Algorithm.

I just understood that it is little bit different from the regular one as it uses +1,-1,+2,-2,0 unlike the regular one which uses +1,-1,0.

Can some one provide me with the detail concept on this.
