Can anybody experienced in FPGA designs can tell me for not highest grade of design which is the better family of FPGA. Altera or Xilinx? In view of cost, power and design ease??
What are the major advantage sand disadvantages.??

Either suppliers part will get the job done. You need to decide based on your personal preferences after you read up on each suppliers parts.

That si true but I just want comparison of hand through the user's experience for cost power and ease of design.:!:

Both parts are easy to use. Power consumption is dependent on the design.

As for personal preference I dont have one. I have use both suppliers devices both by choice or by company mandate.
