Hi,

As CPLDs Contain PROM devices , so Is the CPLDs are one time programmable because PROM are one time programmable by users.

So How do we reprogramme the CPLDs because it contains PROMs

and How the programming and re-programming is done in FPGA's

With Regards,

Most (maybe all?) modern CPLDs contain an electrically erasable PROM. Most FPGAs contain volatile configuration RAM that must be loaded from an external source after power-up. Some FPGAs contain an electrically erasable PROM (example Xilinx Spartan-3AN).

while downloading bitstrem file into PROM you have to set the memory mode (MO,MI,M2) then your problem will be easlly solved:D
