How to display the image from the reflected signal of RADAR?

hi,
i am working on opengl on FPGA... i can program any 2D object using my program.... but this project is going to RADAR.. image display,.......

please can any one tell me how to display the image from the reflected signal of RADAR...i am planning to do 2D images ..... can any one give material for "convert images from signals" thanks in advance.....................

By 2D image u mean that
plotting the graph from returned signal

Or u mean a gray scale image

Yar its simple for plotting the graph
u just have to quantize the returened signal and assign a certain value to every discrete value from max to min and then plot it on a graph.
