Hi all,
I am having a small doubt in I2C address comparison. when the master's transmits the address of the slave to the controller, what does the controller will really do?

Does it pass on the address to all the devices attached to it or does it have the information of all the connected devices along with their address ?

Pls reply me as soon as possible

Thanx and regards
Deepak

i am asking with reference to the below given document

Only if the slave's address matches, that controller will react. If the address doesn't,then there won't be be any answer from that slave. So this means of addressing avoids the necessity of storing the address information of all devices. It's something like a broadcast network.
