convert sine clock to lvds

HELLO,ALL

HOW TO CONVERT 100MHz SINE WAVE TO SQUIRE WAVE,BY USING OP AMP.
ANY TECHNICS,PLEASE EXPLAIN.

Probably can't be done. Too fast. Even if you found a super fast op amp, it would saturate at the two output extremes and have trouble making a clean square wave.

At slower speeds you could set up an op amp as a comparator, and have the sine wave switch the output high or low.

You could probably set up a cmos gate. Something like a sn74lvc1g17dbvr.

You could also dive the sine wave into a two clamping schottkyd iodes to square it up.

Hello,

an op-amp isn't the right device, you should use a fast comparator. Also a LVDS receiver could be used, if the level is sufficient.

Regards,
Frank

not opamp if any device is there ,please suggest and give working principle.

Hello,

a suitable comparator would be Analog Devices ADCMP600, see www.analog.com.
Datasheet ore additional application information should cover the sine wave clock conditioner problem.

LVDS receivers are available from different manufacturers, e. g. TI, National.

Regards,
Frank
