Any suggestion to interface 5V to 3.3V signal

convert 5v to 3.3 v

This could also work. Limitation: speed under 1Mbit, and pull_up conssumption. You can trade off this depending on the size of the pull-up.
HCT125 has 4 of this buffers, but you can get same design with "only 1 gate" chips from p h i l li p s, f a i r c h i l d, t e x a s...

This simple circuit will do what you requested, you only need one resistor and one diode.

1. 5V signal will be level-shifted to 3.3V
2. 3.3V signal will pass-thru directly without attentuation.

When the signal in goes low the output goes low (signal out will be signal in plus the diode forward voltage). If you want a low forward voltage you should use a schottky diode, but a standard diode can be used in most cases.
When signal in goes high (3.3V or 5V) the diode will be reverse biased and signal out will be pulled high (3.3V) thru the resistor.

You can also use this circuit as an 5V tolerant AND-gate if you connect additional diodes to other input lines like this:

simple 5v to 3.3v logic

There are three solutions
1- Use one of 74LVC series which produced by many companies as IDT, Philips, Texas, ...etc.

2- Use two cascaded inverters where the input is the 5V signal and there collector pulled to 3.3V.

3- the following described circuit is bidirectional one.

two bipolar thransistor connected as follows
a) the bases are connected togetrher and connected to fixed 3.3V
b) the emmiter of Q1 connected to collector to Q2 and vis versa
c) oneof the emmiter-collector pair pulled to 5V and the other to 3.3V
by simple analysis if for example 5V signal pulled to GND on of the transistors will on workin as simple inveret to the 3.3V base signal and the output on 3.3V side will go to GND and similar to the other side.

If speed is not very high,Pls use R to divide.
If it need high speed,you can use high speed open drain logic device,then use pull-up resistor to 3.3V.
you also use transistor or mos to converter,use 3.3V to power transistor or mos.

The MAX3372E-MAX3379E and MAX3390E-MAX3393E ±15kV ESD-protected level translators provide the level shifting necessary to allow data transfer in a multivoltage system. Externally applied voltages, VCC and VL, set the logic levels on either side of the device. A low-voltage logic signal present on the VL side of the device appears as a high-voltage logic signal on the VCC side of the device, and vice-versa. The MAX3374E/MAX3375E/ MAX3376E/MAX3379E and MAX3390E-MAX3393E unidirectional level translators level shift data in one direction (VL —VCC or VCC —VL) on any single data line. The MAX3372E/MAX3373E and MAX3377E/MAX3378E bidirectional level translators utilize a transmission-gate-based design (Figure 2) to allow data translation in either direction (VL ´ VCC) on any single data line. The MAX3372E-MAX3379E and MAX3390E-MAX3393E accept VL from +1.2V to +5.5V and VCC from +1.65V to +5.5V, making them ideal for data transfer between low-voltage ASICs/PLDs and higher voltage systems.
All devices in the MAX3372E-MAX3379E, MAX3390E- MAX3393E family feature a three-state output mode that reduces supply current to less than 1µA, thermal short-circuit protection, and ±15kV ESD protection on the VCC side for greater protection in applications that route signals externally. The MAX3372E/MAX3377E operate at a guaranteed data rate of 230kbps. Slew-rate limiting reduces EMI emissions in all 230kbps devices. i can suggest u one option as using a switcher ic from texas tps54310 using which u can convert 5v to 3.3v
but this goes like simple operation and a complex ckt, so first u decide from where u r taking the 5v and the where will u feed 3.3v if it is going to any processor or other then u can try this.
U canget more details from its data sheet and even texas supports with samples u can even rig the cke if u have some resistances and capacitors
