how to store voltage?

i need to activate a VCO whose input is from a F/V converter. when the VCO gets ON then the F/V ckt turns OFF. i want that though the output of F/V ckt is OFF i cud supply the desired voltage to the VCO.

Re: how to store voltage?

It sounds like what you want is a sample-and-hold circuit between the F/V convertor and the VCO. The question then becomes, how long do you need the voltage input to the VCO to be held? Are we talking a few seconds or a few weeks?
