12v dc to 220v ac inverter circuit diagram.

Hi Analy,
Many people built the project and it worked fine except it has a square-wave output, it does not have voltage regulation and it does not turn itself off when the battery charge becomes low.
1) Use a high capacity battery.
2) Measure the outputs of the CD4047 to see that there is a 50Hz or 60Hz square-wave with a peak voltage that is the supply voltage.
3) Measure the outputs of the LM358 opamps to see the square-wave with a peak of a few volts.
4) Measure the emitters of the 2SC1061 transistors and the transistors Q3 and Q4 to see the square-wave but with about 2.5V and 1.5V peak.
5) Measure the collectors of the output transistors to see the square-wave that is about 23V p-p.

Your schematic is old. A couple of changes make the circuit more reliable. See my modified schematic.
 

i already buy 12-0-12 transformer and it is only 10 Ampere. it is ok to use it in this circuit?because I've seen that in your modified circuit diagram the transformer primary is 10-0-10.

Assuming that your transformer is 12V-0-12V to 240V:
1) If your battery is fully charged at 13.2V and there is no load then the output of the inverter with a 12V-0-12V transformer will be about 222V.

2) If your battery is fully charged at 13.2V and there is a load of 120W (the max rating of your little transformer) then the output voltage will be 188V.

3) When the battery voltage drops to 11.2V and there is a load of 100W then the output voltage is 170V.

The output is a square-wave so you cannot measure its voltage on a simple voltmeter.

The input should be 12v dc and the output should be 220v ac,50 Hz sine wave.

can you post your modified schematics on the 500w inverter thanks
and kindly indicate what is the transformer requirements for the circuit,,,,thanks ^_^

It is on the schematic: 10V-0-10V (20V center-tapped) to whatever output voltage you need. It will be huge, heavy and expensive.
