How to counter the phase noise in ring oscillator?

what do u mean ? , do u need to calculate the phase noise of ring oscillator

measure the jitter
draw the eye diagram after transient analysis

use spectre ,there is pss simulation

are u sure? i don't think so, tran analysis doesn't take consideration of noise
method seems to work for jitter introduced by spur, however, the , the precision is just servel ps

I meant by transient analysis is to have indication for the deterministic jitter without the flicker noise.
we can say it's acceptable if the flicker noise is negligible like most of cases concerning the Ring Oscillator.
I hope I came to the point
