matched filter bound

Hi all,
I have a big problem with mobile communications, and I understand nothing. And I need a help for my homework. The prof. gave me a problem which affect my points too much. But as I said It existed nothing about solving this problem in my mind. Maybe it comes you very easily. Please help me and some advices for it. The problem is following;

means;
In a two-path rayleigh fading channel h(t), In the case of t/T and by taking 'a' like in the pic;
a-) Determine BER for BPSK modulation by using MATLAB
b-) Let us assume the pulse function is square pulse with unit energy. Then for the same channel determine the matched filter bound.

Thanks,
