What is rich scattering environment, flat fading Rayleigh channel ? and their advantages.

What is frequency selective channel?

Difference between linear and non-linear receivers?

I know all are basic questions, i need simple answers for my project viva?

Re: Basics...

flat fading = whole signal is corrupted by noise + attenuation
easier to estimate the channel

frequeny selective fading= at some frequencies there are deep fades and also part of input signal is corrupted.

Re: Basics...

can you give some more explanation for understanding. For what basis both channels are classified and their application.
