hi

iam wondering how to dfine the cutoff frequncey for raised cosine filter using
'firrcos' command in matalab
, my roll of factor is .3 and Fs=88Mhz and now i am wondering about Fc

can any one help me on that!?

Hi,

b = firrcos(n,F0,r,fs,'rolloff')
It's the prototype proposed in Matlab for firrcos. that F0 is the cutoff frequency. so you can simply set it.
but if your problem is something else please explain it.

best regards

actually my problem was how one can choose the cutoff frequency, but that of course depends upon the implementation of ones filter

so the problem is solved
