calculate thd

hi guys,
i am writing a code for measuring THD(total harmonic distortion) in a three phase power meter.can anyone explain what is THD and upto how many harmonics can be measured ?
i want measurement upto 41st harmonic

how to calculate thd

Here's a pretty good definition of total harmonic distortion

The Fluke 430 claims to be able to track up to the 50th harmonic

Hello,
any ideas how to do the same in Matlab ??
From the frequency response of the FFT, write a script that identifies the harmonics and calculate the THD ....
Any ideas ?
Many thanks.
