need help in Intrinsic Mode Functions (IMF's)...

In the Hilbert-Huang transform what must be typical value of the amplitude of the Intrinsic Mode Functions. In the sense, see in my code for most of the cases whatever may be the input signal, the extracted IMF has an amplitude swing between -0.2 to 0.2... This is max amplitude i am getting frm the IMF's...

as an example i have posted one of my results also...

pls anyone help me with this regard. I have given inputs with peaks varying between -6 to +6, even then the amplitude of IMF remains the same.

So pls anyone get me out of this prob as soon as possible...
