2.USE PROTEL LIBRARY WIZARDS TO HELP CREATING FOOTPRINT
3.NAME THE COMPONENT...
THEN GET INFO FROM THE DATASHEET...
4.DECIDE IN METRIC SYSTEM : milimeter(mm) or mil
5.PADS X,Y DIMENSION
6.PADS SHAPE:ROUND or RECTANGULAR
7.DISTANCE BETWEEN PAD TO PAD IN X,Y COORDINATION.
8.LAYOUT (TOP SILKSCREEN) TO THE IC DIMENSION
9.SAVE UR FOOTPRINT IN THE LIBRARY
