We are starting a new project and we decided to go towards a 0.18 um UMC DK, taken from Europractice.
I can't manage to find out which version of Cadence IC is required for the DK to work properly. I think we should contact Europractice before choosing the Cadence version, am I right? i.e. the DK could be good for 5.1.41 or 6.1.x or something like this. The question is: is the DK bounded to a IC version? (i think YES)

moreover, what about standard digital cells? asking to them? documentation on the website is really poor, did anyone use this DK?

thank you very much to everyone

The answer to your first question is yes.The IC version that is compatible with the process under usage is usually specified in the documentation that comes within the installation folder of the respective PDK.Look into there and if you can't find that information then come in contact with your provider (Europractice in your case).

Now,as far as digital std cells are concerned, pose a direct question to Europractice and i think you must make an extra payment to obtain them.
