line follower obstacle avoidance (going around it)

hi,
I've basically accomplised the line following task as well as obstacle detection.
however my robot turns around away from the obstacle, instead i want it to go around the obstacle and get back on the black track and follow the line normally.
any suggestions? plzz
 

Not clear if you are asking about hardware or software sugestion.
