Hello!

I have IP EEPROM. What are some ways to protect memory from unauthorized access(WRITE/READ)?
I have found potected EEPROM DS1961S(MAXIM). It has On-chip 512-bit SHA-1 engine and On-chip 16-bit CRC generator.
I need a simple solution.

Best Regards

Some EEPROM IPs have the "WP" pin, for write protection. If yours does not have this one, it is easy to design one in the eeprom wrapper logic.
