Hi collegues,

More than 80% of transistors inside the Xilinx Virtex FPGA are dedicated to programmable routing network, So my question Inside the Switch Block is there CIPs (configurable Interconnect Points) or just wires. Is there somme docs about Routing network, because I didn't found any docs in xilinx web site.

Friendly,

I think there are no docs because implementation details of the specific architecture are their intellectual property and commercial secret (know-how). Which means it isn't likely that you will find specific information.
I might be wrong, though

I suggest you to read research paper instead of user guide from Xilinx for this particular matter.

Thank you for your response,

research papers are in their most theorical, I think there is CIPs connected to SRAM cells

thanks
