led matrix diaplay scrolling

hi

i am doing 5x7 led project,display a word and rolling the word so just i did only display a
'b' character but i can,t scroll the word, i don,t know the logic please explain the logic otherwise sent the sample program me please..
 

You have to shift the bitmap of each character, line-by-line.
I done a project w/ 9 x 8x12 characters.
But due language is no english, maybe it would not be helpfull.

You should scan one row/column continuously and feed with the appropriate data at the row/column

thanks for reply Ajish
i know the scan process means i did display the char in led only i want to move the char in led so i need the logic ,i am using column as scanning purpuse and row for data so how can i scroll the character...please help me
 

if u need only a single matrix u can dirctly drive it from the controller othewise use a shift register for te scrolling purpose.
