1) Any comment about how to add border sheet on pcb desig,
2) And how to move a selected item (mostly text and graphic) from one layer to another, i. e. from "top silk" to "assembly drawing"

Johnson,

For border sheet, normally, I use a mechanical layer for it. I draw the sheet with its title block in the mechanical 6 layer.

To copy or move, from one layer to other: select all the objects that you want to change. Then, pressing right's button's mouse, choose "find simillar objects". Then select "same" in the "selected" field. Then in the PCB inspector panel, change in the properties , to other layer. After that, remove the filter previously selected, pressing the button (I don't remember what is its name)...

Johnson,

PCB border, I normally (I think it must be like) use the mechanical 1. When you generate the gerbers, there is a option to put one of mechanicals layers in all gerbers files. This is used for manufacturers, to be interpreted as PCB border, where the drill machine will cut the PCB. Keep-Out layer, I put 20 mils inside the mechanical 1, so, I know that I can't put any copper near 20mils, and the drill will not cut a copper. And, yes, you must draw it manually.

to change the layer you can do this; firstly select the items which you want to change its layer then open the pcb inspector. you will see the layer section. now change the layer.
regards.
