Dear Friends,

1. Could you please suggest what is the most user friendly "touch screen LCD" that i can try to interface? is that correct that the touch screen and the LCD can be combined into one, so that we just need to control the combined "touch screen lcd" without have to control it separately?

2. What controller either microcontroller or embedded system et cetera that i can use to interface the touch screen LCD?

please suggest, Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Zhi Yi

The best thing that you can get is ezLCD screens **broken link removed**.
They have operating system (based on LUA) where you can execute your code on extremely fast processor. You can complete a small project in a week. I used several times such modules and the results were always beyond the expectations. Also all development tools are free.

All modules have build in resistive touch screen.

They have different sizes of screens with excellent quality and all modules are "on shelf".

or try http://www.arm9board.net, they have all the LCDs combined with touch screen, as well as some nice development kit. you'll find the answers to your questions easily with one of these kits
