hi,

You can find the diagram of comparator in the attachment. I have question here,
1. How to determine the value of resistor load, R?
2. Is there any formula to calculate bias voltage Vbias of M0 and M8?
3. What are the difference of using MOS transistor instead of two resistors?
4. What is the best method to calculate W and L directly?

Which process are you using for this design ? What is your Vdd ? I don't think there is any accurate calculation procedure you can use for this design. If you mention the necessary details its possible to give an idea on device sizing & resistor calculation.

I'm using 0.35µm process technology and Vdd is 3.3 V..
