at command to determine arfcn

Does any one know of a way to determine what band a Simcom 340D is using for the current connection?

I'm not talking about the "band" set with the 'AT+CBAND=' command. What I want to know is, if I have the module set to use the "GSM850_PCS_MODE" once I'm connectting to the network, can I determine if it is operating in the 850 MHz band or the 1900 Mhz band?

If not, is there a way to tell from any of the data I can retrieve about the conection (i.e. Operator ID)?

simcom at+ceng? +ceng: 3,1

To get information on the network connection, you can place the module into Engineering mode using the command: "AT+CENG=1".

When the unit is in this mode you can request the network information using the command: "AT+CENG?". This will return information on the serving cell and neighboring cells.

The first parameter in each line is the cell number (0 indicates the serving cell). The second parameter is the Absolute Radio Frequency Channel Number (ARFCN). This indicates the frequency at which the serving cell is operating. ARFCN's between 128 and 152 indicate GSM850 mode. ARFCN's between 512 and 810 indicate PCS1900 mode.
