Hi members,

Could someone clarify for me this point. In the paper

Improved 6.7GHz CMOS VCO Delay Cell
With Up To Seven Octave Tuning Range


The autors say that phase noise is "-91dBc/Hz @ 1MHz offset from 6200MHz"

What does the 6200MHz denotes. Is it the VCO output frequency ?

Hallo AdvaRes,

you're right, "from 6200MHz" means that the VCO output frequency is 6200MHz, or to be more specfic, the carrier of the output signal is at 6200MHz.
