Hi,
I noticed that many ICs need the 6V supply voltage. It is the working voltage instead of the breakdown voltage. As I konw, the 0.35um or 0.5um CMOS 5V process I used, its maximum working voltage is 0nly up to 5.5V. I wonder what 6V process they used? They use 9V or 12V process to design?

Thanks

12v process mostly for automotive chips , there they will use dmos transistor as a main device for handling high voltage ranges from 9v to 12v.
