I'm still very new in the field of IC design. So far I use Tanner EDA (Tanner Tools v13). What other software that do the similar (or better) jobs as (or than) Tanner Tools v13)?

In Tanner Tools v13, there are tools like S-Edit, L-Edit, LVS, T-Spice, and W-Edit. Kindly relate the tools to that of equivalent tools (if application) in other IC design software.

Thanks.

Re: IC design software

Dude, try CADENCE or MENTOR GRAPHICS tools

IC design software

Yes.
Cadence is very good for FE/BE development & Mentor Calibre, for example, for BE verification.

Re: IC design software

Cadence is a very good choice, there are several tutorial beside the TANNER EDA the layout is more easier to achieve.

IC design software

There are many products from Cadence. Which one is for IC design? In other words, which one gives the same functions like Tanner S-Edit, L-Edit, LVS, T-Spice, W-Edit...
