I hv one test setup as per he picture attached.
I am getting linear gain response.
Now i want to use log amplifier between detector & monitor scope.
This is to get log response on the monitor display.
If this idea is ok,
Suggestions r required to make required log amplifier.

Re: log amplifier

Use Analog AD8306 / AD8307 instead of the detector.
Output directly in dB and a dynamic range of 90 dB minimum, notacievable with any diode.

Worth the price.

Used on a spectrum analyzer to replace the transistor log detector, better than before.

log amplifier

Thanks u Fant,
Can i make log detector with return loss bridge?
Can i see gain & return loss graphs both at a time on monitor scope?
