HFSS wavelength

Hello,

Does anybody know how I can determine the wavelength of a wave propagating along a microstrip line in HFSS???

I don't want to use a microstrip calculator because I will have to determine the wavelength for other transmission guides too.

Thanks

Re: HFSS wavelength

Rewind here,
are you designing the microstrip using HFSS?
I thought the user has to tell HFSS what the frequency is, for analysis.

Or are you talking about the guide wavelength?

Re: HFSS wavelength

I am talking about the guide wavelength

Re: HFSS wavelength

Under the Matrix Data tab of the Solution Data dialog box, lambda is displayed when
Gamma is selected as the matrix type.

In HFSS I believe it is called the effective wavelength.
