PWM Types

Hi,

According to this image from Wikipedia, there are three types of Pulse Width Modulation.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Three_types.png

I know PWM’s module of some microcontroller support these types. For example “Fast PWM” and “Phase Correct PWM” in AVR are corresponding to “Trail” and “Center” in image. Also I know these are different in harmonic and some parameters, but I like to study precisely about these types. Is there any reference on this subject?

Thank you
Reza
